Ensure effective implementation of Rajiv Aawas Yojna: Babulal Gaur

BHOPAL: Addressing a workshop on Rajiv Aawas Yojna for making cities slum-free here on Saturday, urban administration & development minister Babulal Gaur focused on the effective implementation of the Rajiv aawas Yojna which is being implemented in 16 cities of the state.
Gaur said that the state received Rs. 2000 crore for the scheme from the centre.Gaur said it is expected from all the urban bodies to notify the developed slums.
Manohar Untwal said that government’s objective is to make cities slum-free. For it, more work has to be done in less time so that slum-dwellers can get the opportunity to live a better life at the earliest. He directed to achieve targets of the scheme expeditiously.
